Aired on French television, France 5. Edward Auslender arranged, produced and, with the Group Zut, composed the original music for this famous animated cartoon. The series tells the delightful adventures of Kiri the Clown and his friends Laura, Ratibus and Pipelette as their little circus travels from town to town to perform. In each episode, as the troup moves into a new town, the music is played by just one or two instruments and grows into a full circus band for the evening performance (brass, percussion and a rhythm section). Fred Durieux and Francis Médoc (Zut) and Edward Auslender each contributed five melodies, which Edward then used to score the episodes. Working closely with director Eric Cazes, Edward adapted and orchestrated the 15 themes to fit the action. Using the internet to communicate between the musicians, producers and th director enabled us to complete one episode every two days!

This website requires
Adobe Macromedia Flash Player

Website created by
Artinbox Multimédia
Kiri The CLown 65 episodes (5 minutes each).Aired on French television, France 5.Edward Auslender arranged, produced and, with the Group Zut, composed the original music for this famous animated cartoon. The
